From graduating with a Security & Crime Science degree at UCL, to now being a Masters student at UAL’s LCC majoring in Media and Communications – being indecisive would be an understatement. Growing up, I had many aspirations. One moment I wanted to be an Artist, and the next an Astronaut! The sky was the limit in my eyes.

But through it all, I’ve never seen this indecisiveness as a weakness. I enjoy dabbling into a range of activities, no matter how stark the contrast is. To this day, I still play football in my free time, or attend a ballet class every now and then. Having variety in my life is what keeps me going.

Fast forward to present day, being in this course has been very fulfilling thus far. Though it is a Masters, hence more specified, the course has proven to not be confined to a box. With the given modules, I’ve been able to explore many different concepts and ideas that I otherwise probably would have never come across had I not taken up this degree. This course so far, has also been really hands on, which is a great change following the pandemic.
Everyone comes from a different background or walk of life, and we’re all looking to achieve different things with this degree. With that said, as the degree progresses, I am looking to be able to tailor the course to what I’m specifically interested in, and to make the best use of it in helping me achieve my dreams – a career in Fashion, PR or Marketing.
